This Hypemonth for June 2008 will be announcing the already hyped up news or releases out this month. To start off the line up, the new iPhone 3G has been announced by Steve Jobs at Apples WWDC. This time around, the iPhone is everything the old one was but better and amazingly, a lot cheaper. It has thinner edges, a full black plastic back, flush headphone jack, and it will be 36% faster than Nokia's N95 and Treo 750 in terms of pageloads. It also has improved battery life with 300 hours of standby, 8-10 hours of 2G talk, 5 hours of 3G talk, 7 hours of video, and 24 hours of audio. It will also come with GPS, so you know where you are at all times. It goes on sale July 11th for the 8gb price set at $199. Find more info at the Apple Store. Check for more hype after the jump!
Gore-Tex's new line up jackets are another amazing collaboration with WasteTwice & Low Alpine. As part of their ongoing Century Celebration, Converse brought together some major players in the music industry to create a new soundtrack called "My Drive Thru." The collaborating artists includes N*E*R*D, Santogold, and Julian Casablancas. The track will be officially released on Tuesday, June 10th, and will be available for free download on converse.com and other authorized Converse websites, but we have the track right now. The three artists also collaborated on a music video that will be released during the summer.

With Seeing Sounds (be on the look out for KINGGS' Review coming soon) out now and charting quite well, N*E*R*D are ready to rock out in L.A. Also performing will be MSTRKRFT, Spank Rock, Kid Sister, A-Trak, Steve Aoki, The Bloody Beetroots, Kill The Noise and many more. Sounds like one hell of a lineup, with funky electronic and great punk rock hip hop bass. Tickets are on sale now, so I suggest if your in the L.A area, you better go get those tickets. I wouldn't miss out on this event.

Burn After Reading Red Band Trailer

Now we will end this with a movie that was announced this month. With an amazing all star cast, Burn After Reading features, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, John Malkovich, J.K. Simmons, and Frances McDormand. This movie is sure to light up the end of the summer with a comedic relief/crime plot. Knowing this type of role isn't really any of these actor's fortay, it will be great to see what these amazing people can do. Burn After Reading is due out September 12th.
