Jay-Z and Coldplay will be closing out 2012 with a bang, performing together on December 31st at the newly-opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Tickets for this concert will go on sale November 17th at Live Nation.

Within hours of hearing the unfortunate news of the passing of the Beastie Boys’ Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch, Coldplay hit the stage for a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. During their set, Chris Martin sat at the piano for his rendition of the Beastie Boys’ hit song ‘(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)’.
Looks like Coldplay also wanted to release a single for the month of December. The song is available now through iTunes.
