This was our first time hitting the infamous Coachella music festival, which spans over two weekends in the middle of the California desert. It was a lot of fun to say the least, and while we were there we managed to grab some photos and video of what went down from our perspective. Earl Sweatshirt made his Coachella debut last Friday to a packed crowd of festival attendees. During his set, he performed new material from his upcoming album Doris, as well as a few fan favorites, and was joined onstage by Vince Staples, Tyler, The Creator, Domo Genesis, Flying Lotus, and more. For those of you not at this year’s Coachella music festival, a new clip from Daft Punk played this evening. What started off as a short commercial, similar to what was heard and seen during a commercial break for an episode of Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago, extended itself into a preview of a funky song that the duo has created with Pharrell and Nile Rodgers. The names of other collaborators for Daft Punk’s new album Random Access Memories were also shown in this clip including Chilly Gonzales, Julian Casablancas, and more. Check it out above. As we approach the start of the first weekend of Coachella, the set times for this festival have now been announced. Concertgoers will definitely have decisions to make as some the artists that many are looking forward to see will be performing on different stages at the same time. This year, Coachella is doing the same festival twice during back to back weekends. Intense. They just announced the roster which includes Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, The Weeknd, Radiohead, ASAP Rocky, Bon Iver, The Black Keys, Justice, araabMUZIK, Kendrick Lamar and more. The festival reports to have over 90,000 people in the crowd each day. Tickets go on sale Friday.
