REQUIREMENTS
When we first launched ILLROOTS in 2006, one of our biggest objectives was to give new artists the spotlight and feature them on our blog. We did countless mixtapes, interviews and posts with artists from all over the world. Some of those artists have gone on to become hugely successful, and we know for a fact there are tons of talented artists out there that we are yet to hear.
Now that we have a page dedicated to new artists, whenever we hear or see something that catches our ear from an ILLROOTS submission, we’ll post it up on the site and see what our readers think.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Audio must be in .MP3 format, properly labeled and recorded to the highest quality possible uploaded to Hulkshare.com.
- Image file must be high resolution, with a width of at least 800px.
All entries following the proper requirements will be listened to and considered. If we like what we hear, look out for a response email.
