My homie Phil Nash put me onto Shad a few months back as he and Jeff were on tour in Canada and thus my homie Dub Floyd put him in our mix also. At around the 2:50 mark it kind of reminds me of the same effect that the homie Dan The Man's video with AZ and Styles P.
