Yesterday was our first official day in Austin for SXSW. We rolled over to the URB 'South By South Next' showcase and caught 88-Keys, Dom Kennedy, J. Cole, Donnis, Pill and more perform. From there, we rolled with Chip Tha Ripper and crew to link up with The Cool Kids at one of their shows. Chip made a surprised appearance, performing his 'Hammer Bros.' remix with the illRoots chain on. From their we went and caught 'Noisemakers' with Peter Rosenberg and Bun where I finally met dudes like XV, Shawn Chrystoper and more. After said show, our next stop was the Fools Gold party with Donnis, A-Trak and Travis Barker. We somehow wormed our way in there and ended up back at the hotel. No idea what's on our agenda next.
