Electric power has disrupted the auto motive industry in recent years, and its becoming clear theirs not a vehicle type that won't get a clean energy overhaul. Daimler, the parent company to Mercedes-Benz and Smart, have announced their plan to develop electric school buses with an 100 mile range. The 'Saf-T-Liner C2' bus, nicknamed 'Jouley', will seat 81 kids and will be outfitted with an 60kWh battery, with room for upgrades. You can expect to see them completed sometime in 2019.
