Catch-Up With Diggy

The average teenager is said to spend all their time playing video games, flirting with girls, sitting in class and eating junk food. With the release of his highly anticipated mixtape Airborne, the extremely talented Diggy Simmons is attempting to break that stereotype. We’ve been involved in his rap career since day one, and can co-sign his ambition and organic grind one hundred and ten percent. His fashion sense is unmatchable for his age and his humble attitude really shows that this kid is in it for more than just the fame. We chopped it up with Diggy at a New York recording studio on what separates him from other young artists, how the internet has helped his career, what’s different about his day to day life and other topics that shape who he really is. If one thing’s guaranteed, it’s that Diggy is an artist that you can’t ignore and will have a bright future ahead of him.

    he’s able to have a dope fashion sense because he has money and it also can be said for his production. the kid is dope but let’s be serious a lot of it has to do with the money he has so its easier for him to branch out to all these producers and clothing labels. a lot of up coming artist gotta save and rock shows just so they can look appealing but i wish the kid the best because he is doper than a lot of people. but i do agree with FULLOFHYPE on his comment.

    I heard this and just took it in for a sec because no doubt this kid is talented; but my heart broke a little when I heard he dropped out of school to pursue music full time and he’s still only 15. I respect the artist’s crafts and knowing what you want but to many times I feel like young black youth(even the ones who come from many) see entertainment as the means to success and nothing else. My two cents.

    I think the best part is how allll this comes with him acting like he wasnt born into the role. The humility is of course appreciated, but yeah of course you have great “fashion sense” and a stage due to being who you are. This doesnt take away from him being a good rapper so far, just saying…when you have the acces to all this at your fingertips, is it really THAT spectacular?

    Not as much, no.

    I love diggy but i also love his music i think that his music has really entertain people and got them to try things they had never done before i also want to say that this boy isnt just cute but he is also smart 8-)

    Yeah i definitely respect this Kids grind but um the one thing that kinda shocked me in a not so good way was his ” freestyle” over Nas’s Beat ” made you look” i just its to early in his career to be rapping over beats that are so respected becausse the previous person has made such a mark on them .

    everyone said he didn’t ask/call out to producers but he does have money to get in the studio or get the equipment. he even had a studio in his house most kids don’t have that
