We caught up with J. Cole in Chicago for the Heineken Inspire show at The Ravenswood Event Center. The young and buzzing rapper speaks on the reasoning behind his one-shot video for ‘Who Dat’, capturing a fans emotion through live show, his upcoming album due out later this year and what he hopes listeners will take from it. He also performs ‘Dollar And A Dream’ and ‘Who Dat’.

    Yeah alright illroots, ya got me. I stumbled upon ya’ll via some weird ass comment on datpiff about mickey rocks that took me to youtube and then here yall here. And I’m lovin it. And I dunno if I’m sayin Im love in like McDonalds cuz of the McDonalds ads but whatever the fuck. I’m also curious about the type of camera you use for your shoots. I don’t want to say a RED, I’m thinking like a Canon HD. But anyway, all your videos look fantastic, breathtaking, yeah, yeah, good shit.
