Hip-Hop Official, besides being great people, also have one of the best sites for original content and we recently teamed up with them to give one lucky artist a chance to be their “Artist Of The Week”. They had over 70 submissions and inside we have the Top 16 in pairings where you can listen and vote for who you think should move on to the next round. The winner will not only recieve their “Artist Of The Week” spot but a mixtape sponsored by us. Now its time for you to make your voice heard and see who you feel should move to the next round.

Thanks to everyone who entered our first ever Artist of the Week Contest. We received over 70 submissions and had to narrow it down to the Top 16. Trust me, it wasn’t easy. We almost had a few fist fights break out trying to agree on the final selections. If you didn’t make the cut, it means I probably didn’t punch hard enough. But don’t worry, we’ll hopefully have another contest in the future. But until then, these are the Top 16 who made it to the first round.

Please take a listen to the songs and vote on the eight match-ups. The winners from each pairing will advance to the next round. Voting for Round 1 closes on Sunday night at 11:59 PM. You can vote as many times you want, so tell your friends. Tell you friends to tell their friends. Let your voice be heard.
