Actually 50 is 100% correct on this…like it or not, that dude knows his shit. Drake is definitely being pushed by somebody behind the scenes. “Best I Ever Had” doesn’t have In Da Club buzz, anybody who was in high school and up when 50 dropped that knows what I mean….my grandmother knew In Da Club….alot of people that know “Best I Ever Had” don’t even know Drake’s name, they just know the song cuz it’s on 24/7. Drake is a flash in the pan…he’s having his time now just like every other mainstream artist gets their 15 minutes.

Everyone was talking about 50 Cent when Get Rich or Die Tryin’ came out. Even people that didn’t like hip-hop. He was on the cover of Rolling Stone and had the support of what was then the top rapper in the US, Eminem. I don’t think even Lil Wayne has brought that level of excitement.
