LMAO!!!!! Maybe they thought with all that homo shit Em was talking on his album he was finally ready to take the plunge LOL!!! em is not a homophobe, and people need to stop hating on him. i dont know any other artist out there that gets as much slack as em. its redik that mtv pulled that nasty prank on him, especially because his performance single handedly brought in huge amounts of viewers. that was completely uncalled for and i would support eminem if he banned mtv until he got a HUGE apology from mtv for being so tasteless. em is one of the best artists of all time, and anyone who tries to deny that is just flat out ignorant.

MTV should be shut down! What an embarrasement. I was embarrassed for Eminem. I think he was trying to be cool about it but somebody should pay. They are so filthy mouthed. Everything was bleeped and WTF…Hayden Pan is trash and the guy humpin his award and seeing how many times he could say d**k? That was a real nice touch . My daughter and I were trying to catch the Twilight stuff. I had to turn it off I was so embarrassed. How do they get away with it? Who was there when MTV started and they actually played videos?

I really dont think this was that bad. And obviously, Bruno was put up to this, but Eminem was most likely unaware due to his response. MTV has a habit of playing pranks and giving a hard time to the celebrities who appear at their award shows, so honestly, I think that Eminem was out of line for taking it so negatively. He knew what he was getting into and he has given more shit to all of the celebrities there than MTV probably ever has. It is really not a big deal, especially if Eminem wants people to believe he is okay with the gay community.

I thought what happened tonight was staged but I don’t think Eminem knew about it. It was obvious that they would choose him to land on since Bruno is a gay character & Eminem is a homophobe.
It was a very funny moment, though. Eminem should just laugh it off. He can pretend he knew about it. If he acts pissed, it will only bring flack from other rappers who already think he and Dre are gay.

I was disgusted with most of the show last night, but this was way over the line. I can’t say I care for all of Eminem’s work but he has brought a lot to MTV and to get this kind of treatment from them is just disgusting. And for those saying he should have laughed it off, would you laugh if off if some guy stuck his naked disgusting ass in your face?? I think not! I think he handled it very well! Most people would have beat the shit out of the guy. I think MTV owes a major apology not only to Eminem but to the poor kid who won the award and those nominated and didn’t even get mentioned. First of all I want to say that MTV is horrible. It’s been like that for years. All they show is gay reality shows and horrible award shows like this. On one hand, eminem talks smack about people all the time and had something coming to him. On the other, hasn’t he been through a lot of uncool sexual mishaps when he was a child? Well, the argument on both sides is strong. But the real issue is that eminem broke his proverbial back providing immense value for mtv by performing the songs he did, and mtv slapped him in the face in two ways: most obviously the Bruno incident, but perhaps more importantly they did not allow him to perform any of the songs from his new album. Instead, they had him perform Crack a Bottle, which is a lame song. I’m sure mtv was snickering all the way through at what they were doing to his name.
