Rapper Nova claims that Cam’Ron bit his entire concept for ‘I Hate My Job’, even down to the title of the song.

I’m not hating on Nova. His joint was hot. But him saying Cam’rom bit the idea is about as stupid as the dude who tried to tell me I couldn’t say “HERE I GO” to start a track because Drake had already been saying. The concept of “I HATE MY JOB” is a universal topic amongst people, especially middle class Americans. The topic and title has been talked about by Kanye West on Spaceship, a whole album by Consequence and plenty other people.
Now, if I was hating, I would say that Nova is just some nobody that is just trying to regain buzz by dissing Cam’ron over something. BUT, the fact is that I really don’t know Nova’s history and everything and this song/his version is not bad at all. I just feel there shouldn’t be any problem. The songs did not resemble each other at all except for the title and topic…which is all too universal to be called “biting”.
So my two cents is that it’s just a stupid thing to say/do on Nova’s part.
