wayne wrote the original, gave it to drake, took it back for the VMAs, or wayne likes drakes lines, so he used them, they are on the same team…

At the end of the performance, T-Pain screams “T-WAYNE”, followed by Lil Wayne and “T-PAIN”, then when walking away Lil Wayne looks back and says “Shout outs to Drake”. You can even hear it in the video posted here. Though, Weezy is known for using verses and “samples” from other artists.

Iv been listening to Drake since he first came out 4 years ago after the 3rd season of degrassi…Thats when he first started rappin…Last year he came out with a song called “Man Of The Year”…On the record he rapped just like wayne intentionally…To prove tha ANYONE and I mean ANYONE can rap like wayne….Drake recorded that song “Money to Blow” at the ending of last year before he started fuckin with Young Money….So…Wayne used the verse because its “good” lyrically….and the topic is a topic that wayne would usually rap about…And plus it sounds like something wayne would say….

Geez… first off Drake IS signed to Young Money. I know him personally. I’m from Toornto and write for a local Hip hop magazine (Urbanology). He wrote that verse a while ago and wayne used it, not much else to it…he’s been writing for Wayne before he was signed and he still is. Wayne just wants to stay fresh because people were getting tired of his flow for a bit but Drake is helping him stay relevant…check Brand New by Drake..that’s the main reason why Wayne signed him because he can write hip hiphop and R&B. Brand New was supposed to be for a well known R&B artist but Drake version got leaked so he couldnt sell it…
