A day after Bernie Mac’s death comes the passing of one of my personal favorite soul and funk artists, Isaac Hayes.
He was 65.
Ironically, he was set to be in the upcoming film Soul Men with Bernie Mac, which is due out later this year.
So far there haven’t been many reports on his passing, so by instinct I pray it is a false report.
CNN has confirmed it. Damn.
