A representative for Def Jam has confirmed to EW.com that hip-hop artist Nas has made an eleventh-hour decision to change the title of his new album from N—– to simply Nas. SOURCE.

    It was pissing off the media (or rather, feeding the media), and everyone knows that they were just helping the album get heard. The topics that the album was going to hit were going were the ones needed to be HEARD, but people overlook those type of things, so when you have a title that has everyone jumping out of their seats, you know they’re going to actually listen to this one. Actually, they might’ve just turned deaf when they pressed play, though… I wouldn’t have been surprised if that happened. But honestly, sometimes it takes a slap to the face to actually get you to listen. The old title was that slap.

    that N.I.G.G.E.R. track is wack. who the hells producing for this guy? those are the weakest drums i’ve ever heard, damn..hopefully the rest of his album is fire, or he cuts that track from it.
