Doors open @ 9:00pm.”Whose World Is This pt.1″ will feature an exclusive short set by Dead Prez (performing all of the classics, as well as the song “Fallen Soldierz” featured on K-Salaam & Beatnick’s forthcoming album.)
Also in the building will be Reggae icons Massive B. Bobby Konders, Prince Jabba, and the Hot 97 crew will be spinning songs produced by Beatnick & K-Salaam from some of the biggest Reggae artists in the game (Damian Marley, Collie Buddz, Buju Banton, Sizzla, Luciano, Capleton and more…)Mixtape innovator J. Period (rated MTV top 5 DJ’s) will be holding it down on the tables for the remainder of the night along with our very own K-Salaam.
Also performing will be A-Alikes, Blitz the Ambassador, Jahdan, and much more…The event, titled “Whose World Is This vol. 1″ takes place May 3rd at Galapagos, BK (70 N 6th street.) Doors @ 9:00pm. Get there early.

“Whose World Is This?” is a concept album revolving around themes of revolution and upliftment. The project officially drops everywhere on July 29th through VP Records/Universal, and features Hip-Hop Stars: Dead Prez, Young Buck, Trey Songz, Talib Kweli, Kardinal Offishall, Papoose, Saigon, Outlawz, as well as Reggae legends: Buju Banton, Sizzla, Luciano, Capleton, Anthony B, & more. The album also features HBO Def Poets Suheir Hammad and Black Ice.

has this album not come out yet? i have had it for over a year! i just dug it up again today, it seems like it’s the same material but it’s under the name “the world is ours”, instead. classic material for sure!
